About Rusted Mercy
Rusted Mercy is an industrial-reggae band born from the ashes of the industrial dream. Their music combines the deep vibrations of reggae with dark and metallic sounds, made of oxidized synths, deaf electronic drums, mechanical noises and distorted bass. Their style is emotionally raw: reggae is not here to make you dance, but to make you think. It is a cry within abandoned factories, in night warehouses, in empty stations, in silences after the accident.
About the Album
The debut album, Things We Lost, is a concept album about the defeats of contemporary society: forgotten workers, shattered dreams, bought love, children forced to become adults too soon. Every song is a testimony, a secular funeral song for what has been lost: hope, rights, innocence, trust. The message of Rusted Mercy is clear: If you can no longer believe in what was there, sing what remains. Even rust has a sound.
